Networking is not selling

Working together is a critical success factor to becoming a Millionaire. 

By connecting with liked minded people who all want to be Millionaires you are helping each other just by working together. If everyone does this, then it’s easy to see how we can all succeed.

Why do I need to network?

The reason is quite simple, networking works!

Be a positive influence

Be positive. Use positive language.

Smile. See the good in people. Be known as a really positive person. It rubs off on others and people will warm to you for being so.

Keep your emotional criticisms of others and personal hang-ups to yourself. Speak ill of no-one. Be passionate and enthusiastic, but not emotional or subjective.

What is business networking?

Business networking is an effective low-cost marketing method for developing sales opportunities and contacts, based on referrals and introductions - either face to face at meetings and gatherings or by other contact methods such as phone, email and social and business networking websites.

Plan your networking

Know what you want - manage it.

All projects need managing.

Business networking is a project, and so it needs managing. You can use various tools to manage your networking.

You must manage your networking, or it will manage you.

Some people plan with shapes and connections on a big sheet of paper. Others prefer a spreadsheet. Use whatever you find comfortable.

My recent revelation

In the last Successful Marketing Strategy Blog I mentioned that I recently had a revelation. I noticed a commonality in the backgrounds of most of the most successful doctors.

This commonality is quite interesting and instructive.

That commonality in their background started me thinking.

In the previous Successful Marketing Strategy blog I mentioned that there is a little trick used to improve readability of copy and to keep the reader moving through the copy as well as to sell the person who skims and does not read the copy no matter how short it is.

Secrets to a great opening

In my last blog I introduced you to the three things that must be accomplished in the opening of your direct mail piece.  

By way of review you must:

1.   Telegraph the offer.

2.   Emphasize the best aspect of the offer.

3.   Target the reader
